Izolace ISOVER na vzduchotechnických potrubích plní funkci tepelnou, protipožární, akustickou a lze ji částečně použít i pro zamezení kondenzace v místech, kde potrubí prochází chladnějšími místnostmi. Během roku může nastat období, kdy hrozí riziko kondenzace na vnějším povrchu, např. u přívodního potrubí čerstvého vzduchu vedoucího přes vytápěnou místnost. V takovém případě je na zvážení projektanta, zda použít izolaci z minerální vlny nebo ji po technickém posouzení nahradit syntetickým kaučukem.

Compressive strength, but thermal conductivity too, are increased compared to mats with a fibre orientation parallel to the surface.
