Isover S
Isover S boards are suitable as the top layer of flat roofs. A waterproofing layer can be directly applied to the Isover S boards (by gluing, mechanical anchoring or by weighting). It is delivered only in complete pallets, wrapped in PE foil.

Product characteristics
Insulating boards made of basalt mineral wool, the production of which is based on the method of pulping the melt of a mixture of rocks, recycled material and other ingredients. The created mineral fibers are processed into the final shape of the boards within the production line. These boards are hydrophobized in the entire volume and have mainly longitudinal fiber orientation. The boards must be protected in a suitable way in the structure (vapour-proof foil, waterproofing, spreading layer of a flat roof, etc.).
Usage
Isover S boards are designed for thermal, acoustic and fireproof insulation of single-layer flat roofs. Mineral boards are always applied dry, they are usually laid in one upper layer, which protects the thermal layer below. A suitable combination is with Isover T and Isover R boards, which are laid as a bottom layer, with the Isover SD and Isover DK downspout systems, as well as with Isover AK attic wedges, which help the transition of waterproofing from the horizontal to the vertical direction. A waterproofing layer can be applied directly to the Isover S boards (by gluing, mechanical anchoring or using weights). In the case of planned frequent revisions of the roof and technological equipment, it is necessary to design walkways that prevent the formation of depressions in places of walking.
Packaging, transport, storage
Isover S insulation boards are packed in PE foil up to a maximum height of 1.3 m. The boards must be transported in covered means of transport under conditions that exclude their wetting or other deterioration. They are stored in covered dry areas lying down to a maximum layer height of 2 m.
