Isover R150
Product characteristics
Vapour-tight foil with reflective treatment, extremely low vapour permeability and high resistance to mechanical stress.
Usage
A multi-layer vapor barrier with a reinforcing grid and a reflective layer is used as a barrier against penetration of moisture from internal spaces into thermal insulation in pitched roof systems and flat roofs, walls and ceiling. The overlaps must be connected with the recommended connecting tapes. Before assembly, read the attached leaflet with the roll.
Application
Isover R150 is applied horizontally or vertically on the inside of thermal insulation. Individual strips of foil and all longitudinal connections must be glued with Isover SP AL tape, which ensures both a vapor-tight joint and a better appearance of the connection. Connections to porous materials (masonry) are made using Isover Vario® DoubleFit+ sealant.
Packaging, transport, storage
We recommend storing Isover R150 rolls on a flat, clean surface without access to UV radiation and under the conditions specified in the current Isover price list, which exclude their deterioration.
