Thermal insulation of a floor on the ground
The temperature of the earth under the floor on the ground really varies between 4 and 8°C, depending on the depth and kind of soil. Such constructions must certainly be insulated over their whole surface so that thermal losses are avoided. Naturally, the joints between the vertical wall and foundation construction must not be forgotten since they are frequently weak spots with thermal bridges occurring, as a result of which corner moulds may occur. This should be kept in mind from the very moment the design work is commenced
