SPECIAL ACOUSTIC BOARD INSULATION Isover AKU are insulation boards made of mineral fibre Isover in the size of 1,000 x 625mm (material thickness 40, 60, 80, and 100mm). The production method is based on fibering mineral composition melt and other additives and ingredients. This unique insulation was developed on the basis of long-term laboratory research and market monitoring. It provides an ideal combination of acoustic and fire protection properties for plasterboard partitions. The entire mineral fibre surface is water repellent, but the boards must be protected suitably against the effects of the weather.
