Isover S panels are designed for unloaded thermal, acoustic and fire insulation of flat warm decks. The panels are laid in one or two layers. They can be combined with Isover T panels which are to be laid as an underlayer with gravity flow systems Isover SD and Isover DK as well as with Isover AK attic wedge blocks which help to change the horizontal direction of water-proofing into a perpendicular direction. A water-proofing membrane can be applied directly on the Isover S panels (glued, mechanically attached or with a load). In the event that a number of technical devices are installed on the roof requiring frequent maintenance, hardened walking pathways should be built in the respective routes or the entire roof should be designed as a walking roof.
