Product characteristics
TECH Wired Mat MT 3.1 is a stone wool mat with wire mesh sewn on one side. It is delivered as standard in the variant of galvanized mesh and galvanized sewing wire. on request, for temperatures higher than 400 °C and/or for stainless steel surfaces, it is possible to offer a mat sewn with stainless steel wire on galvanized mesh (designation TECH Wired Mat MT 3.1 X) or a mat sewn with stainless wire on stainless steel mesh (designation TECH Wired Mat MT 3.1 X-X) all variants according to ČSN EN 10223-2.
Usage
The mesh mat TECH Wired Mat MT 3.1 is suitable as thermal and/or acoustic insulation of pipelines and technological devices.
Although the fibers of the insulation are hydrophobized, the mat must be properly protected in the construction against moisture (outdoors from weather effects) and possible mechanical damage.
The highest operating temperature in the sense of the ČSN EN 14706 standard is 560 °C. In the part of the insulation that is exposed to temperatures higher than 150 °C, a one-time evaporation of the binder occurs. In areas with a lower temperature, this phenomenon does not occur.
Packaging, transport, storage
The product is delivered palletized. The material must be transported and stored under conditions that exclude its wetting or other deterioration.
