Product characteristics
Orstech LSP 40 light lamella screwable belt with perpendicular fiber orientation is made of stone wool lamellas that are glued on one side to a support base made of aluminum foil reinforced with a glass grid.
Usage
The Orstech LSP 40 lamellar mat is universally used in TZB applications for lower temperatures. It is especially suitable for insulating air conditioning pipes.
Although the fibers of the insulation are hydrophobized, the lamella mat must be properly protected in the construction against moisture (outdoors from weather effects) and possible mechanical damage.
The highest operating temperature in the sense of the ČSN EN 14706 standard is 250 °C. The thickness of the mat must be selected so that the maximum temperature on the side of the aluminum foil does not exceed 100 °C. In the part of the insulation that is exposed to temperatures higher than 150 °C, the binder is released once. In areas with a lower temperature, this phenomenon does not occur.
Packaging, transport, storage
The product is delivered as loose rolls or as palletized. The material must be transported and stored under conditions that exclude its wetting or other deterioration.
