Isover EPS 250 is a thermal insulation board made of expanded polystyrene with high compressive strength (min. 250 kPa). It is suitable for insulating floors, roofs, and other structures with higher loads. It offers low thermal conductivity and resistance to moisture.

Product Characteristics
EPS (expanded polystyrene) is a light and rigid organic foam that is widely used in European construction, especially as thermal insulation. Over the past 50 years, white insulation boards have gained a firm place in construction sites due to their excellent utility properties. EPS Isover insulation boards are manufactured using the latest technologies without CFC and HCFC (known as freons). Modern technology ensures consistent quality and minimal energy consumption in production, which gives the boards an excellent price/performance ratio. All EPS Isover boards are manufactured in a self-extinguishing version with increased fire safety.
Application
Isover EPS 250 insulation boards are intended for general applications, especially for thermal insulation with the highest requirements for point pressure loads, such as rooftop solar power plants on footings, industrial floors, roof terraces with tiles on pads, etc. For solar systems, the following waterproofing must meet the BROOF (t3) composition according to the new ČSN P 73 0847. Compared to XPS boards, Isover EPS 250 has clear advantages, especially higher temperature resistance (necessary under waterproofing of flat roofs), larger dimensions reducing the number of stabilizing anchors and the edges of the boards are not sharp.
Packaging, Transport, Storage
EPS Isover insulation boards of dimensions 1,000 × 500 mm and 1,000 × 1,000 mm are packed in PE foil in packages of max. height 500 mm. Non-standard dimensions, e.g. 1,000 × 2,000 mm, 1,000 × 2,500 mm are strapped. The boards must be transported and stored under conditions that prevent their deterioration. Do not store in direct sunlight for long periods.
Edges
The boards are equipped with a straight edge as standard, but a rebate can be created for an additional charge (up to a maximum thickness of 240 mm, the covering dimensions are reduced by the rebate size, i.e. 15 mm).
