Description
ISOVER X-Tram is a system composition of above-rafter insulation of pitched roofs.
Insulation above the rafters is currently one of the modern ways to insulate pitched roofs. This method of insulation consists of several layers, the main one being thermal insulation. Due to the elimination of thermal bridges, the latter forms an uninterrupted layer, and because of this, this system is in many cases more suitable than classic insulation systems for pitched roofs.
There are several reasons to insulate above the rafters. The main one is that the thickness of the insulation in the pitched roof construction is already starting to significantly reduce our living space. Thanks to the insulation placed above the rafters, it is easy to create an airtight layer without the solution of connection to the rafters.
