Product characteristics

Lamella screwable belt Orstech LSP H is made of stone wool lamellas, which are glued on one side to an aluminum foil reinforced with a glass grid. The perpendicular orientation of the fibers gives the product increased compressive strength while maintaining the adaptability of the mat to rounded surfaces (pipes, tanks, etc.).

Usage

The Orstech LSP H lamellar mat is particularly suitable for insulating pipes and technological equipment.

Although the fibers of the insulation are hydrophobized, it is necessary to protect the board in a suitable way in the construction against moisture (outdoors from weather effects) and possible mechanical damage.

The highest operating temperature in the sense of the ČSN EN 14706 standard is 600 °C. The thickness of the mat must be selected so that the maximum temperature on the side of the aluminum foil does not exceed 100 °C. In the part of the insulation that is exposed to temperatures higher than 150 °C, the binder is released once. In areas with a lower temperature, this phenomenon does not occur.

Packaging, transport, storage

The product is delivered as loose rolls or as palletized. The material must be transported and stored under conditions that exclude its wetting or other deterioration.
