Product characteristics

Insulating facade boards made of basalt mineral wool, the production of which is based on the method of spinning the melt of a mixture of rocks, recycled material and other ingredients. The created mineral fibers are first processed in the production line into the shape of plates and then the edges are adjusted around the perimeter on the front side of the plate - by beveling by 15 mm at an angle of 45 degrees. The fibers are hydrophobized over the entire surface and have a predominantly perpendicular orientation to the plane of the wall.

Usage

Boards with vertical fiber Isover Top V with beveled edges around the perimeter on the front side are intended for the insulation of internal ceilings and walls, where they are glued over the entire surface to a sufficiently flat and load-bearing base and, if necessary, mechanically anchored. These boards, placed regularly next to each other for binding or cutting, are able to hide minor unevenness of the substrate and create a three-dimensional boss effect. A surface layer is not necessary if the dust is removed from the surface of the boards by vacuuming before use. If surface treatment is required, facade or interior painting can be applied to the cleaned and impregnated boards by spraying.

Packaging, transport, storage

Insulating boards with beveled outer edges are packed in PE foil in loose bales or as bales on a pallet. Isover Top V is delivered on pallets as standard. The material must be transported and stored under conditions that exclude its wetting or other deterioration.
