Isover T-i




Product characteristics
Insulating boards made of basalt mineral wool, the production of which is based on the method of pulping the melt of a mixture of rocks, recycled material and other ingredients. The created mineral fibers are processed into the final shape of the boards within the production line. These boards are hydrophobized in the entire volume and have mainly longitudinal fiber orientation. The boards must be protected in a suitable way in the structure (vapour-proof foil, waterproofing, spreading layer of a flat roof, etc.).
Usage
Isover T-i boards are designed for thermal, acoustic and fireproof insulation of single-layer flat roofs. Mineral boards are always applied dry, laid in one or two layers, but always as a bottom or middle layer. In the flat roof system, it is necessary to combine them with Isover S, S-i materials, which cover these boards. To solve the controlled routing of rainwater, it is advisable to systemically combine it with the Isover SD and Isover DK downspouts. Then with attic wedges Isover AK, which help the transition of waterproofing from horizontal to vertical direction.
Packaging, transport, storage
Isover T-i insulation boards are packed in PE film up to a maximum height of 1.3 m. The boards must be transported in covered means of transport under conditions that exclude their wetting or other deterioration. They are stored in covered dry areas lying down to a maximum layer height of 2 m.
