Isover Piano
Product characteristics
Insulating rolled strips made of Isover glass felt. The production is based on the method of pulping the glass melt and other additives and additives. The created mineral fibers are processed into the final shape of the belt within the production line. The fibers are hydrophobized over the entire surface. It is necessary to protect the insulation in the structure in a suitable way (sheathing of partitions, other layers of the structure).
Usage
Isover Piano rolls are suitable as heat, sound and non-loaded insulation for installation in light constructions with metal-based reinforcement elements. In residential, administrative buildings, in attics, hotels, hospitals and in industrial buildings, the role of Isover Piano will increase the sound absorption of the structure and thus its soundproofing capacity (an improvement in soundproofing of up to 18 dB can be achieved depending on the solution of the lateral paths of noise propagation and the number of openings in the structure) , especially when filling the entire width of the cavity (by 5 to 7 dB higher soundproofing compared to half filling the cavity). The value of the increase in structural soundproofing depends on the limitation of the lateral paths of noise propagation, i.e. the insulation of the load-bearing grid of the partitions from the constructions of the floor, ceiling and walls with flexible insulating tape.
Packaging, transport, storage
Insulating rolled strips are packed in PE foil. The material is strongly compressed in the package and quickly acquires the nominal thickness after unpacking. Compression facilitates handling, saves storage space and space directly on the construction site. Supplied in MPS packaging (1 MPS = 24 rolls, volume 4.09 m3). After agreement with the manufacturer, loose packaging can also be delivered. The rolls must be transported in covered means of transport under conditions that exclude their wetting or other deterioration. Products are stored in covered areas or in an external environment according to the conditions specified in current price list.

TWIN – u takto označeného výrobku se jedná o 2 pásy shodné tloušťky navinuté na sobě (např. 2 × 50 mm), které lze po rozbalení jednoduše od sebe oddělit a použít každý zvlášť (50 mm), a nebo se od sebe pásy neoddělí a použijí se dohromady, čímž dostaneme dvojnásobnou tloušťku materiálu (100 mm).
