Product characteristics

Insulating boards made of basalt mineral wool, the production of which is based on the method of pulping the melt of a mixture of rocks, recycled material and other ingredients. The created mineral fibers are processed into the final shape of the boards within the production line. These plates are hydrophobized throughout. The boards must be protected in a suitable way in the structure (external cladding, etc.).

Usage

Isover Fassil boards are suitable for insulating the outer walls of pre-hung facade systems, they are inserted under the cladding in a grid or mechanically anchored, in multi-layer masonry. The boards can be mechanically anchored to the wall with holders for soft MW insulation. Insulation boards are not glued to the substrate. To strengthen the surface, it is also possible to produce these plates with a black and white glass non-woven fabric sticker (minimum quantity must be consulted with the manufacturer). In the case of using material with an adhesive marked Fassil NT, it is necessary to protect the adhesive itself from excessive wind during the installation of the ventilated facade. If Fassil NT material is used to insulate false ceilings it is also necessary to consider in advance the use of metal dowels for fire safety reasons and their location must not be on the edge of the board. The adhesive itself is not suitable for additional modifications (painting, gluing, etc.). The material is suitable for fire protection system constructions with a requirement for volume weight ≥ 50 kg·m^-3. Especially energy-saving type of insulation, λ_D = 0.034 W·m^-1·K^-1. strong>

Packaging, transport, storage

Isover Fassil insulation boards are packed in PE film up to a maximum package height of 0.5 m. The boards must be transported in covered means of transport under conditions that exclude their wetting or other deterioration. Products are stored in covered areas or in an external environment according to the conditions specified in current price list.
