Product characteristics

Insulating boards made of basalt mineral wool, the production of which is based on the method of pulping the melt of a mixture of rocks, recycled material and other ingredients. The created mineral fibers are processed into the final shape of the boards within the production line. These plates are hydrophobized throughout. The boards must be protected in a suitable way in the structure (external cladding, etc.).

Usage

Isover Fassil NT boards are suitable for insulating the outer walls of pre-hung facade systems, they are inserted under the lining in the grid or mechanically anchored, in multi-layer masonry. The boards can be mechanically anchored to the wall with holders for soft mineral insulation. Insulation boards are not glued to the substrate. To strengthen the surface, these boards are also covered with black glass non-woven fabric. The adhesive must be protected from excessive wind during the installation of the ventilated facade. In the case of using material to insulate false ceilings, it is also necessary to consider in advance the use of metal dowels for reasons of fire safety, and their location must not be on the edge of the board. The adhesive itself is not suitable for additional modifications (painting, gluing, etc.). The material is suitable for fire protection system constructions with a requirement for volume weight ≥ 50 kg·m-3. Especially energy-saving type of insulation, λD = 0.034 W·m-1·K-1. strong>

Packaging, transport, storage

Isover Fassil NT insulation boards are supplied in pallet quantities. The pallet is packed in PE foil. Transport must be provided on covered means of transport. The products must be stored in covered areas or in the external environment under conditions that exclude moisture or other deterioration.
