Product characteristics
Isover EPS RigiFloor is a special type of elasticized EPS boards with minimal dynamic stiffness. In combination with a spreader board, it enables the creation of floors with high impact sound insulation. EPS Isover insulation boards are manufactured using the latest technologies without CFC and HCFC (known as CFCs). Modern technology ensures constant quality and minimum energy consumption of production, which ensures an excellent price/performance ratio for the boards. All Isover EPS boards are produced in a self-extinguishing design with increased fire safety.
Usage
Isolation boards Isover RigiFloor 4000 are intended for impact absorption of floors with a useful load of max. 4 kN/m2 (apartments, offices, school classrooms, lecture halls, etc.), thickness 50 mm then for payload max. 3 kN/m2. It is most often designed as a heavy floating floor with a spreading reinforced concrete slab (min. thickness 50 mm, concrete B20, mesh W4 mesh 150/150 mm), or a corresponding cast anhydrite. Flexible perimeter floor tapes (Isover N/PP) must be used around the walls and adjacent structures.
Packaging, transport, storage
EPS Isover insulating boards of size 1000 × 500 mm are packed in PE foil in packages of a maximum height of 500 mm. Boards must be transported and stored under conditions that exclude their deterioration. Do not store in direct sunlight for a long time.

Boards are equipped with a straight edge as standard.

The weighted reduction of the footfall sound level ΔLw was calculated on a concrete monolithic ceiling with a thickness of 120 mm, alternatively with a spreading plate made of a reinforced concrete screed with a thickness of 50 mm (var. 1) or anhydrite with a thickness of 40 mm (var. 2).
