The mineral fibre slabs are particularly suitable for the insulation of rectangular ducts. Slab ORSTECH 65 H is certificated as the insulation for fire resistant ductwork according to EN 1366-1, for fire resistance of 30, 45 and 60 minutes, fire outside. It shall be installed in compliance with Classification protocol (available upon request). The slabs can also be supplied with a facing. They can be made with either an aluminium facing (ORSTECH 65 H) or a non-woven fabric facing (ORSTECH 65 NT). Maximum service temperature: 620°C. The thickness of the slab with facing must be designed to keep the maximum temperature on the facing side below 100°C. Reaction to fire: A1 (ORSTECH 65 and ORSTECH 65 NT); A2, s1, d0 (ORSTECH 65 H). Hydrophobized.
