Insulation of technological equipment

This group includes the insulation of heat exchangers, tanks, boilers, storage silos, exhaust pipes, technological distribution systems, etc. A suitable product must be selected, depending on the diameter, thermal load, method used to fix the insulating material to the construction, and requirements for surface treatment. Stratified belts – ORSTECH LSP H and ML 3 (only for temperatures up to 260 °C) or ORSTECH DP – may be used for pipes and curved surfaces. Insulating boards (ORSTECH) may be used to insulate flat surfaces (the board type according to the thermal load); they may be surface-treated with glued aluminium foil.
